Trial First Chapter The wind blew noisily by Kyrian's ears as she hurried back to her house. She lived a few blocks away from her college, and it seemed like a storm was quickly approaching. Panting, she heard a rumble sound in the sky as rain started pouring down on her. Clutching her books to her chest to keep them from getting wet, she quickened her pace, rounding the corner of her driveway.
